A prisoner belonging to a void known as "Lacuna," longs to escape their entrapment. As they search for a way out, they confront the unchecked mental illness that plagued their former life.

Lacuna is a short film project by Bladde. The film is the first project released in the "Act II" era following a long hiatus (aside from performances) after The Ascension Tour. The film somewhat advances ideas explored in 2022's Blood on the Carpet, but varies greatly thematically and visually.

"Ethereal and symbolically powerful. Lacuna has Bladde's most ambitious cinematography ever." - Anonymous premiere attendee

"Out of all of the projects Bladde has put on, this was the best. He really showed his vulnerability. I'm speechless." -Sheepfuzz

"Lacuna is a film that really resonated with me on a very personal level. It uses lighting, framing, colors, and music to guide viewers through an experience that is very effective. Every piece of storytelling here is anchored by very deliberate and well thought out music choices that are integral in bringing everything to life alongside Bladde's own performance, a performance that is as emotive as it is intrinsic to the film's impact. Singular in vision yet relatable to all who know, and insightful for those who don't. -
